Felicity Lenea Melson, age 56 of Huber Heights, passed away Tuesday, November 16, 2021 at James Cancer Center in Columbus. She was born September 9, 1965 in Troy to George Howery and Lee Ola Burns Howery.
Those left to cherish Felicity’s memory include her father George Howery of Troy and mother Lee Ola Howery of Huber Heights; children Lenea Browder of Columbus and Joshua Browder of Huber Heights; brothers Bond Howery of Huber Heights, Thomas Howery of Albuquerque, NM, Phillip Tillman of Tupelo, MS, and Gregory Howery of Huber Heights; sisters Leslie Blakes of Troy, Andrea Newman-Harris (husband Devin) of Columbus, and Trina Collier (husband Howard Collier) of Piqua; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews; as well as a special significant other Joseph Cordova of Richmond, IN.
She was preceded in death by many aunts and uncles.
Felicity attended Transformed Life Church in Piqua and also Grace Family Worship Center in Piqua. She was a graduate of Troy High School and went on to receive her Bachelor’s Degree from Urbana University. Felicity loved to travel and enjoyed her trips to Florida where she spent her days at the beach. She worked as a Master Scheduler for Raytheon Technologies (Collins Aerospace) in Troy.
A funeral service will be held 12:00PM Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at Transformed Life Church, Piqua with Suffragan Bishop Brian Hamilton, Pastor Charles Carnes, and Pastors Howard E. & Trina Collier as officiants. Visitation will be from 11:00AM-12:00PM at the church. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
