Married Ernest S. Williams Jan. 9, 1971 preceded her in death Jul 27, 2007, Married Kermit Earl. Bell, Sept. 25, 1954 and he precedes her in death April 1965.
Helen was a member of the Bronzettes Club, Member of St. James Community Church since 1955 where she was a very active member. She was a communion stewardess, Sunday school supt. Sang in the choir, was on the kitchen committee, helped with vacation Bible School She enjoyed singing, working word search books, reading, baking, getting her nails done and reading her Bible and devotional daily.
Retired from Brackett builders as an office cleaner in 2000. Previously she worked for Westbrook laundry in Troy, XL dry cleaners, Piqua and Waltz cleaners. She had been a housekeeper and cook for over 10 years for the Richard Carver Family.
Helen departed this life at 8:51 p.m. on Tuesday, December 7, 2021 at Ohio Hospice, Dayton, Ohio
Helen leaves behind to cherish her memories her loving daughters Katherine L. Hudgins, Troy, Ohio; Vickie L. (Curtis) Evans, Huber Heights, Ohio, Karan L. (Robert) Bunch, Troy, Ohio; two stepdaughters, Susan (Brian) Carner, Piqua, Ohio, Bernetta Williams, N. Carolina, two step sons, David (Lisa) Williams, New Breman, Ohio, Timm Williams, Maui, Hawaii. A niece/daughter Adonna Hurte Brockton, Mass; two other special nieces Joyce Ford, Troy, Ohio and Mary Jones, Brockton Mass. Grandchildren, Arlita Hudgins, Troy, Ohio, Albert Hudgins II, Troy, Ohio, Desmond Evans, Huber Heights, Ohio, Robert Bunch III, Troy, Ohio and Ciara Bunch, Atlanta, Ga.,other grandchildren, Great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and a host of family and friends. Preceding her in death a son Rodney E. King, step son Stephen Williams, five sisters and 3 brothers.
A homegoing celebration will be held at 11AM on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. James Community Church, Troy with her daughter, Pastor Vickie Evans officiating. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
