James Clifton "Jim" Perry

James Clifton “Jim” Perry, age 80 of Cincinnati and formerly of Covington, passed away 7:30AM Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Anderson Nursing Home in Cincinnati. He was born February 6, 1943 in Piqua to the late James Clifton Perry and Merledean “Toni” (Hunt) Perry.

Along with his parents, Jim was preceded in death by his wife Patricia (Jett) Perry on December 18, 2012, and brother Alvin J. Perry.

Those left to cherish Jim’s memory include his daughters Belinda Perry (Jeff Gowen) of KY, Angela Harden of OH, granddaughter Christina Perry of KY, grandson Zachary Simpson of OH and nephews Alvin J. Perry, II of Texas and Ben Perry of VA.

Jim was a 1963 graduate of Bay High School in Panama City, FL and was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Covington. He was a lifetime member of Troy Elks #833, Troy Moose Lodge #2695, Troy Fish and Game Club, and Sidney Eagles #1403. He retired as a factory worker from Hobart Corp. in Troy after 39 years of service. 

A funeral service will be held 1:00PM Monday, April 3, 2023 at St. John Lutheran Church, Covington with Rev. Rachel Patterson, Rev. Dr. Charles Carnes officiating. Visitation will be held from 12:00PM-1:00PM at the church. Interment will follow in Highland Cemetery, Covington. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home.
