Kent Kazmaier

Kent Kazmaier, age 82, of Troy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 14, 2021 at Troy Care & Rehab. He was born on May 4, 1939 in Troy to the late Carleton Harry and Mary Margaret (nee Graef) Kazmaier.

Those left to cherish Kent’s memory include his loving wife, Judith Kaye Saunders Kazmaier, whom he married July 14, 1962; children, Kevin Charles (Patricia) Kazmaier of FT. Loramie, OH, Karen Lynn (Brendan) McCorkle of S. Vienna, OH, Katherine Lee (Douglas) Stringfield of West Milton, OH, Kent Andrew (Kelli) Kazmaier of Troy, Karol Jo (Steve) Hogue of Bradford, OH; sister, Mary Karolyn Hareder of Bainbridge Island, WA; 13 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Kent graduated from Troy High School in 1957 and went on to attend Wittenburg College. He worked for 25 years in sales at Hobart Corp., where he retired and was a member of the former quarter century club. He belonged to Troy Christian Church. Kent enjoyed fishing and watching golf and football.

A funeral service will be held at 1:30 PM on Monday, December 20, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Chris Heiss officiating. A visitation will be held prior from 11:30 AM to 1:30 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow the service at Maple Hill Cemetery in Tipp City, OH. Memorial contribution may be made to VITAS Hospice, 601 Office Center Drive, Suite 200, Fort Washington, PA 19034. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
