Obituary
Lois Jean Boyer, age 81 of Troy, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 at her residence. She was born on October 5, 1941 in Arcanum, OH to the late Chester and Dorothy (Hosbrook) Brodrick.
In addition to her parents, Lois is preceded in death by her husband, August H. Boyer and her brother, Marvin Brodrick and 2 sisters, Pat Sales and Barbara McCammon.
Those left to cherish her memory include her children, Scott A. Boyer of Troy, Rodney E. (Rita) Boyer, of Troy, Brenda A. (Lawrence) Ginn of Troy and Lisa K. Boyer of Minster, OH; one sister Betty Jessup of Union, OH; four grandchildren, Michelle Boyer, Stephanie Boyer, Blake Boyer and Brandan Boyer-Ginn; and 6 great grandchildren.
Lois attended Arcanum High School and retired from Dolly Toy in Tipp City, OH. She loved fishing and playing board games and video games with her grandchildren. She was an animal lover and will miss her 3 dogs and bird.
A funeral service will be held at 12:30 PM on Friday, July 21, 2023 a Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home with Pastor Joe Hill officiating. The visitation will be from 10:30 AM until the time of the service. Interment will follow at Miami Memorial Park in Covington, OH.
