She was a model, was an extra in the movie “Shane” and was a pilot in her early years. She loved music and passed that love down to both her children. She was a member of Beta Sigma Phi, a graduate of Leadership Troy, and a long-time supporter and volunteer of Miami County’s Family Abuse Shelter along with Bill Gothard Ministries. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church in Troy, Ohio and more recently Piqua Baptist Church. In retirement years, she and her husband Joe loved to visit with friends at K’s, Lincoln Square, and Viva La Fiesta among others. She and her husband Joe were long time members of P.A.C.K (Piqua Antique Car Klub). Most recently she lived at Friendship Village in Trotwood, Ohio and was cared for by Vitas Hospice.
