Obituary
Marilyn Fay McIlvain, age 76 of Tipp City and formerly of Troy, passed away Tuesday, July 11, 2023 at her residence. She was born October 25, 1946 in Troy to the late Carl George Smith and Mary Elizabeth (Cross) Smith.
Marilyn was preceded in death by sisters Sandy Smith and Catherine (Smith) Booher; brother Randy Smith; two great-grandchildren; as well as stepfather Sherman Gage.
Those left to cherish Marilyn’s memory include her husband Robert McIlvain; her children Tammy (Timmy) Corkell of Delaware, Carl Lowe of Troy, Fawn Lowe of Tipp City, and Mary Lowe of Troy; 13 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; her twin brother Marvin (Suzette) Smith and brother Richard Smith.
Marilyn enjoyed fishing and was an avid bingo player and bowler. She cherished time spent with her family especially going on vacations to visit her daughter Tammy.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
