Norman Leonard Fox

Norman Leonard Fox, age 82 of Bradford, OH, passed away at 2:07 AM on December 11, 2021 at Ohio’s Hospice of Miami County. He was born on August 22, 1939 in Gettysburg, OH to the late John and Mabel (Leonard) Fox.

In addition to his parents, Norman is preceded in death by his grandson, Brandon Fox; brother, Carroll Fox; sister, Phyllis Hungerford; and daughter-in-law, Theresa Fox.

Those left to cherish Norman’s memory include his loving wife, Carol Fox of Bradford; children, Dan Fox of Troy, Ellen Fox of VT and Tim Fox of Gold Canyon, AZ; step-son, Brian Kissinger; sister, Ellen Starky; grandchildren, Austin, Darian, Millie, Van and Amber; great grandchildren, Jordan, Matty, Mara, Lily, Laila, Ellis, and Bailey; as well as close family friend Mary Baker-Stone of Bradford.

Norman owned his own electrical contracting company for many years and later went on to work as an electrician for Piqua-Emery Foundry, where he retired. He belonged to Troy Church of the Brethren and also to the Troy Eagles #971. Norman loved to go camping, work around the house and woodworking. He also enjoyed watching the Indy 500, Cleveland Browns and Cleveland Cavaliers.

A funeral service will be held 6:00PM Thursday, December 16, 2021 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastor Jon Keller officiating. Visitation will be from 3:00PM-5:45PM with an Eagles Service at 5:45PM. Memorial donations may be given to The Nature Conservancy, nature.org.
