Ricardo Garcia, age 63 of Troy, passed away suddenly from cancer on Saturday, September 30, 2023 at Upper Valley Medical Center, Troy. He was born March 26, 1960 in Brownsville, TX to Maria Rita Garcia.

Those left to cherish Ricardo’s memory include his wife Lucia Garcia, his son Ricardo Garcia, Jr. of Brownsville, TX, four grandchildren: Ricardo Garcia, III, Joshua Barry, Melody Shyanne, and Aribella Rose, as well as special sister Manuela Perez.

Ricardo graduated from Homer Hanna High School in Brownsville, TX. He worked for 20 years at Meijer Distribution. Ricardo was an avid fisherman and loved working on cars. He was a big fan of classic rock. He was lovable with a huge heart. Ricardo had a fun personality and was always the jokester.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
