Robert E. Hagerman

Robert Eugene Hagerman, age 83 of Tipp City, OH, passed away on Saturday, January 15, 2022 at Grandview Medical Center in Dayton, OH. He was born on December 5, 1938 in Richmond, IN to the late Robert L. and Elizabeth (nee Carmichael) Hagerman.

In addition to his parents Robert is preceded in death by his loving wife Peggy Hagerman, who passed away in January of 2015, and brother, Phillip Neff.

Those left to cherish Robert’s memory include his daughter, Tammy Palmer of Fairborn, OH; grandchildren, Rick (Ashley) Bynum, Rebecca (Dustin) Baker, Robert Bynum, Jamie Bostwick, Justin Bynum, Kristen Bynum, and Randi (Steven) Vance; brothers, Junior Neff and Gary Neff; sisters, Carol McNeal, Beverly Crabtree and Marilyn Netzley; and 20+ great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren.

Robert was a veteran of the United States Army where he served during the Vietnam War time. After his military time, Robert worked for and retired from ABF Freight System as a truck driver and on the dock loading trucks. He also spent many years driving a race car. He had a love for Westerns, motorcycles, watching racing and watching professional wrestling.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, January 24, 2022 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Jonathan Gregory officiating. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 10:00-11:00 AM. Interment will follow the service at Forest Hill Memorial Gardens in Tipp City, OH.
