Rodney Rudisill Obituary

Rodney Robert Rudisill, age 66 of Troy, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2021 in the Hospice of Miami County Inpatient Facility. He was born October 11, 1954 in Watseka, IL to Robert and Verna (Knerr) Rudisill.

He was preceded in death by his mother Verna Rudisill Howe and sisters Brenda Bailey and Judy Howe.

Those left to cherish Rodney’s memory include his father Robert Rudisill of Kentland, IN; wife Janice (Januszak) Rudisill of Tipp City; sons Rod Rudisill (Megan) of Minocqua, WI and Robert Rudisill of Troy; grandchildren Kora, Kayla, Ana, Cerenity, Taven, Kaiden, Graycen, Xander, Elena, Layla, and Aerith; great-grandson Rylan Thomas Rudisill; brothers Craig Rudisill of Rankin, IL and Russell Rudisill (Linda) of Rankin, IL; sister Ginny McGraw of Fowler, IN; and stepbrother Gary Scott Howe of Denver, CO.

Rodney was a First-Class Lineman with DP&L for over 20 years before retiring. He enjoyed playing the guitar, fishing, playing baseball, and weight lifting. Most of all, Rodney was a loving father and grandfather who adored his family.

Per Rodney’s wishes, no services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
