Roman James Wesson

Roman James Wesson, age 3, went to be with the Lord at 10:40 pm on June 17, 2023 at Upper Valley Medical Center. He was born January 10, 2020 in Dayton, OH to parents Rohsaun Wesson, Jr. and Maci Wadsworth.

Roman was predeceased by his great grandparents, Paul and Agnes Frazier, James and Phyllis Smith, Martin Wadsworth and Anna Chalk-Hutson and his great-great grandmother, Mary P. Folley.

Those left to cherish Roman’s memory are his parents, Rohsaun Wesson, Jr. and Maci Wadsworth, his brother Koa Wesson, his grandparents, Vernon and Adrienne Wadsworth, Leon and Carla Johnson, his aunts and uncles, Gavin Wadsworth, Talia and Josh Corry, Hailee Gaines, Jax Johnson, and Jayden Johnson as well as his great grandparents, Evelyn and Jack Johnson, Sr., June Wadsworth, John Hutson and Paula Frazier, and great aunts and uncles, Patricia Hawes, Robert Foley, Damian Hutson and Walter Scott, Jr.

Roman will always be remembered for his infectious smile and stunning eyes that lit up a room.

He loved John Deere, farming and yard equipment, and taking fast drives with his daddy. He loved to plant green beans, play baseball, swinging on the swing set, throwing rocks into the lake. Roman enjoyed hanging out with his uncles, playing with his friends along with spending time with his dogs and watching Paw Patrol.

The family would like to send special thanks to the Lehman-Drake family and the Cascaden family.

Services will be held at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy on Friday, June 23 at 1:30pm with Pastor Lithani Ward and Pastor Olie Burton officiating. Visitation will be from 12:30pm-1:30pm. Interment will be at Riverside Cemetery, Troy.
