Obituary
Sutton Ann Carter, age 2, passed away Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Dayton Children’s Hospital. She was born August 29, 2020 in Troy to Shane and Rachel (Youssef) Carter.
She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Mahala Youssef and paternal grandfather Clarence Carter.
Along with her parents, Sutton is survived by her sister and best friend, Stella Carter; paternal grandmother Tammy Carter of Troy; maternal grandfather Madhat Youssef of Virginia; aunts Danyell Youssef (Michael Hall), Alice Carter, Sarah Carter, Gail Carter, and Lynn Carter; uncles Charles Youssef, Carlos Adkins, Alex Carter (fiancé Blayre Beck), Lance Carter (Hollister), Butch Carter, George Carter, John Carter, Cris Carter, Jeff Davis, and Andrew Carter; cousins Malakyi Hall, Kynsley Hall, Landon Youssef, Kiyha Adkins, Xaiver Adkins, Quinten Adkins, Cameron Adkins, Kenna Carter, Hollis Terrell, and Brianna Jumper; as well as great-aunt and uncle Vickie and John Campbell of Troy.
Sutton was such a smiley, happy, and loving baby girl. She was strong and very brave. She loved the show Bluey and being with her big sister, Stella.
