Teresa Jean Swigart

Teresa Jean Swigart, age 62 of Troy, passed away Sunday, October 22, 2023 at her residence. She was born May 3, 1961 in Troy to John Casey and Caroline (Tucker) McCall.

Teresa was preceded in death by her father John Casey as well as brother Dwayne Casey.

Those left to cherish Teresa’s memory include her husband David Swigart, whom she married August 14, 1998; her mother Caroline McCall of Troy; her son Christopher “Chris” (Sara) Wermuth of Arlington, KY; stepdaughter Erika (Zach) Bowser of Darke County; seven grandchildren; brother Johnny Casey of Troy; as well as her fur babies Bear and Jasper.

Teresa was a 1979 graduate of Troy High School and was a member of the Troy American Legion Post 43 Auxiliary where she enjoyed playing tickets. Teresa worked as a deli clerk at Troy Kroger.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00PM-4:00PM on Friday, October 27, 2023 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
