Willard Dale “Buzz” Fraley, age 89 of Piqua, OH passed away on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at his home. He was born on January 23, 1933 in Fletcher, OH to the late Vance and Lourene (nee Pohlschneider) Fraley.

In addition to his parents, Willard is preceded in death by his adoptive parents, Everett and Courene Hobbs; wife, Donna Fraley; sisters, Bonnie Whitaker and Jan Swigart; and son-in-law, Joel Welbaum.

Those left to cherish Willard’s memory include his son, Stanley Fraley of Piqua, OH; daughter, Vicky Welbaum of Covington, OH; brother, James Fraley; sisters, Shirley Atha and Joyce Brown; 2 grandchildren, Jessica Lauber of Piqua, OH and Jennifer Cox of Troy; and 4 great grandchildren.

Willard was a veteran of the United States Air Force for 16 ½ years and the United States Army for 6 years. He worked many years as a mechanic for Civic Service. He belonged to Franklin Lodge #14, F & AM, Piqua, Scottish Rite Valley of Dayton, Korean War Veterans, Troy Chapter #256, O.E.S., Troy Eagles #971 and former member of Troy Fish & Game Club.

Private family services will be held. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy, OH.
