Raymond Moore, age 83 of Casstown, passed away Thursday, February 23, 2017. He was born February 19, 1934 in Ironton to the late William Strother and Olive Marie (Henry) Moore.

Raymond is survived by two sons and daughter-in-law: Raymond and Kathy Moore of Casstown, and Jeremy Moore of Fletcher; three daughters: Laura Moore of Fletcher, Jacqueline Moore of Covington, and Tiffany Moore of Casstown; two grandsons: Chris and Eric Moore, along with several other grandchildren and great-grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, and their spouses; and several nieces and nephews.

Raymond married Norma Jean (Jarvis) Moore on May 19, 1952 and she preceded him in death on February 4, 2017.

Raymond graduated from Ironton High School, and retired from the US Air Force where he served in the Vietnam War. He and his wife owned and operated Crown Electronics near Tipp City for 20 years.

A funeral service will be held 2:00PM Monday, February 27, 2017 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Rev. David Ramming officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  Entombment will take place in the mausoleum at Riverside Cemetery, Troy, with Military Honors by the Veteran’s Memorial Honor Guard of Troy. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
