Paul Robert Ross, Sr.

Paul Robert Ross, Sr., age 74 of Troy, passed away Wednesday, February 14, 2018. He was born September 23, 1943 in Troy to the late Glen and Hallie (Foutz) Ross.

Paul is survived by three sons: Robert (Jane) Ross of Greenville, Paul Robert Ross, Jr. (Teresa) of Troy, and James Mehaffey of Whitney, TX; four daughters: Angie (Tim) Trapp of Troy, Stacy DeHart of Troy, Christina (Shawn) Wooten of Whitney, TX, and Charline (Doug) Subler of West Milton; 35 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; two brothers: Jim Lucas of Sidney and Tom (Peggy) Ross of Piqua; as well as two sisters: Dorothy Superinger of Troy and Carol Eubank of Piqua.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sheryl Louise (Motherspau) Ross, whom he married December 30, 1975; daughter Tracy Dawn Ross; granddaughter Alecia Heffner; brother Chet Lucas; and sister Glenna Noble.

Paul was a member of the Ludlow Falls Christian Church and a former member of the Troy Fish and Game Club. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, going to garage sales and flea markets. He retired as a machine operator from Ivex Corp. in Troy after 32 years of service.

A funeral service will be held 1:30PM Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy with Pastors David Starry and Tim Trapp officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM-7:00PM Monday, February 19, 2018 at the funeral home. Interment will be in Casstown Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Miami County: PO Box 502, Troy, OH 45373. Arrangements entrusted to Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy.
