Fredrich E. “Fast Freddy” Ellis, age 70 of Troy, passed away Saturday, August 18, 2018 at Piqua Manor. Fred left us, but we don't know where he went. He was born August 15, 1948 in Troy to the late LeRoy and Sarah (Grant) Ellis.
Freddy is survived by his wife Sandra (Feltner) Ellis, whom he married October 29, 2016; five daughters: Renee (Dave) Ernst of Canton, GA, Melissa Basil of Troy, Regina Lyons of Troy, Sabrina (Ryan) Dunham of Dayton, and Natalie Chandler of Troy; son Zecheriah Ellis of Troy; 11 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by sister Susan Ellis.
Freddy was a US Army veteran and a member of the Shepherd’s Chapel Church. He was also a member of the Troy Fish and Game Club and enjoyed fishing and shooting guns. He was an avid gun and knife collector. Freddy retired from UTC in Troy (formerly BF Goodrich) after 41 years of service.
A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00PM Friday, August 24, 2018 at Troy Fish and Game.
