Pamila Sue “Pam” Stubbs, age 76 of Troy, passed away at 9:10pm on Saturday, July 7, 2018 in the Hospice Unit of Upper Valley Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born December 11, 1941 in Star City, IN to the late Jack and Priscilla (Shipley) Friedman.
Pam is survived by her loving husband Max Stubbs, whom she married April 28, 1962. Other survivors include her daughters Angie Weidle of Cleveland, Michele (Jeff) Havens of Urbana; Brandy Foreman of Troy, and Nikki Lavender of Troy; nine grandchildren: Kyle Vanover, Joshua Pickering, Taylor Havens, Shelby Havens, Jessica (Jason) Lehnhoff, Zachry Foreman, Madelynn Lavender, Briana Lavender, and Cooper Lavender; as well as two great-grandchildren: Noah Lehnhoff and Gavin Pickering.
Pam was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She was an active member of St. Patrick Church and Assumption Church in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. She was also Program Director at Coral Ridge Tower in Ft. Lauderdale. She was employed at Hobart Brothers for 17 years and owner of Classique Beauty Salon for 15 years. She retired in 2007.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30AM Saturday, July 14, 2018 at St Patrick Catholic Church, Troy with Fr. Michael Samala officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00PM-7:00PM Friday, July 13 at Fisher-Cheney Funeral Home, Troy. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Troy. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Miami County: PO Box 502 Troy, OH 45373.
